Frequently Asked Questions

 

What can you expect at a life group meeting? Though each group will look slightly different, life group meetings typically consist of: Bible Study, Discussion, Prayer, Accountability, Fellowship and Laughter. Groups are led by a member who is trained and committed to shepherding the group.

Is childcare offered? Yes! All groups will have child care available. Once you sign up for a group, your leader will coordinate the details.

How long will groups meet? Groups will meet from 8-12 weeks.

Where do groups meet? Most life groups will meet in someoneʼs home. Occasionally, groups will choose to meet at the church. Click here to see a map or see the location listed with each group's description.

How do I buy materials for my group? Once you sign up for a group, your leader will contact you with the information on how to purchase materials. You can buy them online or at a local store.

How long does a life group meeting last? No longer than two hours.

When are life groups offered throughout the year? Life groups are offered from February through April and then again from September through November.

When do life groups kickoff? The week of February 13th.

  • Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point groups are a safe place for people with questions about faith, as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. Groups meet for about 10 weeks and together explore the grand story of the Bible. One of the goals of Starting Point is to help participants find their places in the story.
