“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread
and to prayer... they broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the the Lord added to their number
daily those who were being saved.”
Acts 2:42, 46, 47 (NIV)
What can you expect at a life group meeting? Though each group will look slightly different from every other, life group meetings typically consist of: Bible Study, Discussion, Prayer, Accountability, Fellowship, and Laughter. Groups are led by a member who is trained and committed to shepherding the group.
Is childcare offered? Each life group will decide whether or not to include children at group meetings. Some will choose to have on-site childcare at meetings, while others will encourage each member to secure their own childcare at home. Whether your group agrees to on-site childcare or at-home childcare, we consider involvement in a life group critical at Stones Crossing Church. Therefore, we offer to reimburse any family for the cost of childcare while parents attend regular life group meetings.
