Jim and Teresa White
STV missionaries, Jim & Teresa White, are involved in evangelism, discipleship/leadership training, equipping/teaching the local body of Christ, and hosting short-term mission teams in the Dominican Republic. They hosted a SCC team in Feb. 2009 and are looking forward to another SCC group coming in 2010.
They are blessed to be partnering with national churches who have a vision to send out their own missionaries to the world. STV has currently purchased 13 acres of land in the countryside, Hacienda Esperanza, and have begun construction of the STV Discipleship Training Center. The Whites have served in the Dominican Republic for the past five years and previously served 8 1/2 years as field directors in Haiti. Jim serves as pastor of an international, interdenominational church in Santiago which ministers to members from the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Holland, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Costa Rica, and the U.S. Teresa serves as worship leader in the English church and has also been teaching courses on the Ministry of Worship & Vocal Training/Technique in a local Dominican church.
